she's been trying to get better and fix their relationship, yes, but jimmy still couldn't help being annoyed with the first time they get to meet for months is being infiltrated by some rich boytoy, so, in retaliation, he only agrees if he can bring HIS boyfriend. yeah, that's right mom, he's bisexual.
unfortunately, he doesn't have a boyfriend, and his mom is far to excited to meet the guy her son has become high school sweethearts with. fuck.
