Wei Wuxian wiggled her face out of the grip of her friends, turning around to see the ghost of a face she hadn’t seen in person for over four years. Wen Qing was right to hide her from looking.
Lan Wangji stood at least ten feet away with an important looking woman. He was dressed in a suite and looked every bit as important as the CEO of Lan Investments he was. His hair had grown a little longer than he had seen in the news, just a smidge past his ears with a wave to it that Wei Wuxian guessed didn’t happen if kept long. Which was what he remembered— long black hair and an extremely drunken sexual encounter at a college party four years ago that possibly resulted in A-Yuan.

Or, Wen Ruohan finds 7 year old Wei Wuxian promising for forming a core at 4 years old only to realize that he picked up his sister’s child… Thank god no one else picked him up. Chaos ensues and he just drops the idea of taking over the world to ensure Wei Wuxian doesn’t destroy it before he does.
