"Responsibility?" Caine asked.
Kinger swallowed. "Y-yes. They aren't equipped with the correct mindset to sacrifice themselves."
"Sacrifice?" Caine parroted, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Is that what you think you do?"

Leland gets the chance to catch himself a new wife, a transmale reagent known as "Owl", but how will that work out for him? How will the reagent adapt to being forced to play house with this crazy man? Really not sure myself to be fair, hope in later chapters to explore Lelands Character alot more, but as of now still working on introducing the main plot.(Heavily inspired by Enough Horror by 21CrumbledShadows12 conceptually, though I will be using it as writing practice to explore Leland's character now and how it relates to his past. Will likely update tags and summary as I write more. Also this is my first fanfic in years, so do be gentle)
