Summary
None of this, of course, served to actually make Maul good. It merely made him useful, which he had been trained to be. Even a bomb was a tool, wasn’t it? Though its usefulness ended with its destruction. Its usefulness was its destruction. Perhaps that was Maul’s destiny as well.
Maul and Obi-Wan's life in exile is interrupted by a Force vision, sending them on a journey where they must each confront what it is they fear most.

Maul—a clone with full memories of being cut in half by Obi-Wan—follows him, experiencing a crisis of his own. Stranded together for a week, the two come to terms with their own issues and explore the opposite sides of the Force together...
