    Soup day is sacred. 

    Soup day is the day Jangcheol gathers all the miscellaneous vegetables and plants they've grown, as well as the ones he's been allowed to bring home from the lab, and scrutinizes each one. No veggie goes unexamined; all are possible victims of the soup. Everything from what's in stock, to the quality, to the type of soup they had last week, are all considerations on what makes it into this precious broth. 

    Soup day is very important, so Jangcheol had come home early from work today to get the pot going.
