Summary
“Y/N.” He whispers softly, causing you to meet his gaze with your watery ones.
He may very well never see you again so he says his final farewell.
“Goodbye little soulmate.” He says tenderly, seeing the realization on your face.
Your grip on him slackens in your surprise and Death takes the opportunity to use his magic, the hands of his reaper form appearing and grabbing you by the shoulders, shoving you away from him and the Corruption as he fully sinks into the door. The last thing he hears is you screaming his name.

Don’t you just hate it when your friend doesn’t listen to you, reads from a weird old book and you end up on an entirely different Earth. Let’s not forget that you’ve been dropped onto an Earth minutes away from the Apocalypse happening. Even with all of this happening to you, you still find it within yourself to do something potentially stupid when you leave the safety of the church to help a stranger that you thought was a fellow human being. But here’s the real kicker, turns out you’re stuck in a videogame and you have no idea if you’ll be able to go back home.
