Izuku leaned in the door way of his three-year-old child’s room, his heart fluttered as his eyes fell on her face. She was perfect and he couldn’t thank the surrogate enough. At the age of twenty-five, Izuku felt the loneliest, dating never worked with his line of work and he always wanted to be a dad. He was a firefighter and having someone to come home to meant a lot to him.
“You need to get going, dear.”
He turned to see his mother giving him a look and tapping her foot against the wood floor. He rolled his eyes and smiled as he pushed away from the bedroom, he walked over and wrapped his arms around his short mother.
“I’m just going to miss her.” He sighed as he pulled away then walked over to the door to grab his duffle bag, he had packed the night before.
