A sudden change in circumstances forces Sherlock to contemplate arrangements he never has before.
Sherlock shot Mycroft a glance, “I rarely pay attention to your digressive babbling.”
Mycroft stubbed out his fag and turned to his brother, “On February 2, 2009 I picked you up from your most recent stay in rehab. I outlined very clearly the conditions our parents set up for your continued financial support. I also went over the consequences if you did not adhere to their wishes. You may consider that babbling, but it has allowed you to live in comfort for over the last 5 years, and now you are having to deal with the entirely expected consequences of your actions.”
Sherlock ground his teeth, “But these conditions are outrageous. They are unreasonable. They are absurd. The fact that I should have to abide by them...”
