Summary
Violet's color has always been blue.
During the fight in the vents, Caitlyn hesitates to shoot Jinx. Sevika sees this as an opportunity for them to escape so she blows up Janna’s mural. The resulting explosion collapses the structure, triggering an earthquake that swallows Vi and traps her underground for months. Presumed dead, her absence fractures the already-fragile bond between Piltover and Zaun.
When Vi finally claws her way to the surface, she could barely recognize the twin cities. Piltover has imposed martial law on Zaun, with Caitlyn Kiramman at the helm as its ruler. Fueled by her rage and her grief, Caitlyn’s compassion has eroded into cold ruthlessness and iron will. Zaun is rife with unrest as its people are crushed under Piltover’s control.
Desperate to set things right, Vi navigates the twin cities teetering on the edge of a rebellion. She wrestles with her feelings for Caitlyn, while also trying to fix her relationship with Jinx, who is now somewhat a hero of Zaun. Vi now stands in the middle of it all, wanting to save her homeland and the woman she loves.
