Summary
New, New-Yorker Ray Cooper has just moved to the small town of Raven Brooks in Missouri, she doesn’t expect much from the town she has been unceremoniously dumped in by her parents who feel a change of scenery will make her ‘well-rounded’ as an individual- she doesn't think this town has much to it, maybe home cooked pies and suburban bliss- not expecting its population of cryptids to be too much of a problem, the world having adapted itself to its inhabitants both human and not.
But this town doesn’t seem as peaceful as it lets on; as strange things begin to happen, animals begin freak out, and an arson accident no longer matches up. Dark things hide beneath the surface of this town, and it’s up to Ray Cooper and her ragtag team of friends to uncover them.
