Deku.
That's what Izuku Midoriya has been called all his life, he even began to believe it himself. Until the day that changes everything, when he does what he trusts is right, reaching out his hand to one in need, placing himself between a terrified child and the man in the mask who hunts her.
And then his body is detonated, ending his life in an instant.
That should be it, the end of his story, if he was actually quirkless, that is. For the first time in his life, Izuku Midoriya's quirk activates and he awakens in the body of the man who killed him.

Izuku Midoriya was made of wood.
Not wood he could control, no branches he could grow, no super-strength, just wood. But that was Izuku's first and last roadblock, he'll become a hero no matter how much others tell him that his quirk isn't suited for it. After all, he promised his father he would.
And Izuku Midoriya doesn't break his promises.
