Summary
Avery Johnson was not a quitter.
He had not quit when he was seven and learning to skateboard for the first time. He had not quit when he had failed three classes his freshman year of high school.
He had not quit when he had found the book in his Minecraft world warning him not to turn left. Most of all, he had not quit when everything had pointed to D3rlord3 being impossible to find.
And as he sat staring at his screen after fifteen hours of playing a dumb video game and losing his first real friend in a very long time, it struck him that this was not the time to start being a quitter.
