Summary
The last thing he remembered was light. Light, then he was sinking below the waves, followed by darkness.
There was nothing he could do. Odysseus had been forced to make the decision, and now they all had died. He closed his eyes as he sank lower and lower.
'I’m sorry Penelope' was his last thought before slipping away from consciousness.

Odysseus has been forced by Zeus to choose between his life and the lives of his crews. When Zeus' lightning bolt strikes the ship, part of Odysseus never expects to wake up again. However, he soon finds himself on an island with a goddess and... the ghosts of his friends and his mom? Where did they come from? -

Summary
When Bilbo opens his eyes, he is standing once more on the doorstep of Bag End, no older than fifty, when he distinctly knows that he was last 120, and far away from the shire. Left to redo his whole adventure, he is gifted with a second chance that he has wished for his whole life. Now the question is what does he do with this second chance?
