In Hell, everything has a price.
Octavia Goetia struggles under the weight of her mother's expectations and the consequences of her father's infidelity. Loona contends with being the lowest demon in Hell's food chain, a dead end job, and too many solitary nights. Two fathers bring together two lonely daughters. Hell won't have it. But you find friends in strange places. And they will all need each other, because Hell is slowly growing stranger by the day.
It starts with the paintings and sketches piling up in Octavia's bedroom and the awful nightmares that inspire them. It deepens with too many disturbing and profitable jobs for IMP. It darkens with suggestions of horrors too vile for any demon and conflicts that will change the landscape of Hell. As friendships grow and the year blackens, a rag-tag group of demons band together to answer one question; What price would you pay to save your family?

How Dami got past Dick’s watchful eye and triggered the Zeta Tube and crawled his way through doors all the way to Bryce without alerting the literal gods on earth was beyond Bryce’s mental capacity.
Did Bryce pick up the baby and let Dami fall asleep on her chest under the chest plate without anyone else knowing? Yes. Yes she did.

Jason was going to burn the diary. It was an uncomfortable tether to the life he used to live. But it felt so cruel to do it. To do it to the little boy he used to believe in magic. That little boy was scared to be forgotten. He just wanted to be loved.
Jason didn’t want to forget that version of himself that believed in magic and good things.
Instead of burning the diary, Jason Todd wept. He wept onto the last page, the last entry he made before he died. He wept, because he never got to fill in the rest of this blue, leather bound journal.
