"what are we doing again.." Chuuya sighs, he knows he already asked twice but not once had he gotten a proper answer. "we're going to school!" the urge to punch that stupid fish got increasingly bigger. "no shit, I meant why"
Dazai just stared at him for a bit before a smile plastered on his face again "for the mission!" "what goddamn mission!!" "dont worry your little dog brain about it!" Chuuya grabbed him by his collar and pulled him down to his height. "give me a proper answer damn it!"
"ugh.. fine, you're so impatient Chibi" Chuuya didn't resist the urge to roll his eyes as Dazai started explaining the mission. this was going to be tiring is the only thing Chuuya could think.

“You heard what I said, shitty Dazai. He doesn’t want you. Not a single one of them does, but I do. So you’re going to fucking stay here, because you don’t get to leave me again.”
“I’m not participating in this weird ass fantasy where we spend the rest of our lives together. I’m not him and you know it,” Dazai bites out, renewing his efforts to get out of his bindings.
Nakahara’s hand shoots out to pin him against the couch and stop his movements. “I know. Of course, I know that. But he owed me, and now he's fucking dead so you’re the one that’s going to pay on that debt. So, I am going to fucking keep you and when the times comes, I’m going to be the one kill you. You don’t have anything waiting for you out there, and you know it.”
Finally, Dazai stills. He tries to formulate a response, but he's not stupid, and there's no denying the truth. Slowly, he nods, and from above him, Nakahara grins.

toxic skk situationship breakup + ada distancing themselves + beast chuuya being pulled in from his world = dazai, desperate for some sort of affection, and finding it in the absolute worst way possible
