    For once in her life, Rumi wants to be selfish.

    Or: HUNTR/X works towards sealing the Honmoon and falls in love along the way. Pre-reveal Rumi, hiding both her patterns and her wants, loves her girls in whatever way she can until she's free (whether that means shielding Mira and Zoey in fights or pretending to be something she's not). She just has to hold out until the Honmoon’s golden. Straightforward enough, right?

    [Learned there's nothing stopping me from using my own popular fic for evil (aka, advertising other fics and authors I'm obsessed with).     Heat spikes in the back of Lena’s eyes. “Friends,” she repeats. “Of course. Why couldn’t we be?”
     
    The answer is obvious. They were never really friends, even when they technically were. Lena has zero idea how Kara plans to manage it now with all their history between them.

     A sort of retelling of S2 under the premise that Lena and Kara went to college together and dated.
