It should sound crazy. It is crazy. This doesn't happen, people don't just share dreams, especially not this consistently. And yet, Robert finds himself just… accepting it. Because it does make some kind of sense, at least to him. Because of course his and Aaron's love was so all-encompassing, so earth-shattering, that it would defy laws of logic and sense and transcend the rules of the universe if it meant keeping them tethered to each other when they are apart.

“Thank you,” Aaron whispers, and his words sound as thick as the air he’s pushing them into. “I had a great night, honestly. Just… Thank you.” Then he’s leaning up on his tiptoes; stretching, body lean and long and sharp, and Robert risks settling a hand onto his waist. It shocks Aaron for moment, but then he just grins: some great, dazzling, blinding smile that Robert has to close his eyes against, and before he knows it, there are lips on his cheek. They settle, for one moment, two, three, and he’s holding his breath, fingers tightening around the curve of Aaron’s hip.
