“He directs his stare at a nearby corridor, thinking back on the.. at best, unprofessional behaviour from his colleagues. First Roland simply disappeared without a word, and then their even less cordial ex-Sephirah followed, vaguely excusing himself with needing a smoke.
And now, a slightly red in the face Hod returns to them. Apparently unsuccessful in her attempt to bring the both of them back to the main event. She seems to recover quickly from whatever embarrassment was present in her expression, shaking her head lightly.
“I believe we should, ah.. leave them alone for now.” Is her measured conclusion, and he watches as she sends a.. meaningful look towards Chesed, who’s sipping at his third cup of coffee nearby. It’s certainly a choice of words. ‘Them’, plural?”

“You smoke?” he muses in the meantime, one hand lowered to rummage in his pocket. But then the other man makes a disgusted noise, which is enough to immediately regain his attention.
“Hell no. Well..” he seems to ponder for a moment, “not tobacco. That shit’s awful.”
Roland can’t help but laugh, one hand expertly readying to light his own cigar first. “Oh yeah? And why’s that?”
“What’s even there to like, man.. tastes bad, smells bad, feels bad. No idea why people do it.” Roland intelligently chooses not to comment on the mysterious joint he sees instead, held between two scarred fingers. Instead, he takes a good inhale of his own cig, and holds the lighter forward.
Netzach doesn’t move to take it. “I see a light right here though” and before the black haired man can comment, he feels a single hand on the side of his face.
