Just a thought about the new timeline and now the need for the old timeline to come back: OG Aoi was left all by herself at the OG timeline festival, watching her friends, classmates and teachers get ripped apart. While the two people who can protect her, Teru and Akane, were nowhere to be found. Do you think she pushed her cowardice aside and tried using the bell Teru gave her, or do you think she hid with it, praying he showed up and saved her the same way he did in the far shore? What if she didn't have time to rush?
Do you think she died happily because she's dating Akane? Or did visions of Nene and the fact she never apologized came back to haunt her? Did she selfishly wished she had her time extended long enough to be Akane's bride? Is that why the new timeline gave her a whole ass fiancé despite her kannagi blood?

They don't talk about it. Neither of them. They really should. Having sex your Sensei/student that you live with and also have a crush on is definitely something that should get talked about but they don't, both parties all too happy to act like everything is fine and nothing is different or out of place. They're ignoring the obvious, letting the conversations about what they’re doing fall to the wayside. They have all the best intentions, both of them, but the days are busy and the situation is complicated with much room for error and, somehow, in the blink of an eye, it's always right back to being bed time.
[Or: A canon divergent AU where Aizawa takes Shinsou in just before the USJ incident and his attempt to help Shinsou with the resulting nightmares goes a bit awry.]

"If you're looking for Midnight-sensei, she already left." Shinsou Hitoshi spoke softly, couldn't keep eye contact, and looked like he was a few seconds away from collapsing into an exhausted pile caused by copious amounts of stress.
"No. You're Shinsou Hitoshi." Shouta didn't bother to phrase it as a question, but he was curious when the kid tensed as if expecting a fight or a scolding. "Do you know who I am?"
Shinsou glanced around as if expecting a trick, the kid finally meeting his eyes for a quick moment, "You're Eraserhead." Huh. Kid knew his heroes, then. "And you're here to tell me what I'm in trouble for."
"Who says you're in trouble?" Shouta had seen Shinsou's school file and it certainly hadn't been light, but considering his quirk and background, he wouldn't be surprised if more than half of those 'fights' had been started by others and then blamed on him.
"Because you're a teacher for the hero course, sir, and the only reason for a teacher from Class 1-A to be talking to me is if I'm in trouble." What a depressing and sarcastically polite kid.
"Do you still want to be a hero?"
