Summary
Miss Cassandra was, for all intents and purposes, a strange woman. She lived in a large house with her orphaned nephew and pet raven, she drank blood in silver goblets to keep herself young, she read people’s fortunes in her old van. She could predict disaster, and sometimes prevent it by warning those involved. She was a masterful liar and an even better manipulator. She could enter the minds of men and women as if it was nothing to her, searching for memories and thoughts as easily as one might search for clothes in a wardrobe. She could place jinxes, hexes and curses on people who disrespected her and her loved ones.
But, despite all of her knowledge on the dark arts, she mostly used her powers for good. Of course, she wasn’t opposed to using her power to destroy an enemy when it was needed, and she had killed people before when the situation had called for it. But, most of the time, she was good, and if you didn’t cross her, you would never need to fear her.
This fic will follow Miss Cassandra in her daily life as she uses her power to help her neighbors.

Summary

Summary
When Harry blows up Aunt Marge, Dumbledore decides he can't be left to his own devices in Diagon Alley for the whole of August and sends him to stay with the only person available - one highly displeased Severus Snape. Harry, for his part, doesn't think this summer could get any worse. After all, what could be more unpleasant than living with Professor Snape?
