    "Shadow Milk?..." At first, his eyes couldn't pick up on anything, but as he looked closer, he could see the glow of two narrowed eyes.

    The glow revealed the silhouette of a huge wolf, practically taking up half of the room, even in its crouched state. Pure Vanilla gasped at the sight, fully entering the room. He walked closer to the beast, his tone tender. "Oh... Oh dear, my bluebird turned into a big, bad wolf."

     

    Or, Shadow Milk is upset, and now Pure Vanilla has to comfort him when he's wolfed out.

    “What’s going to happen to me?” she whispered. Pain flashed in his eyes for a split second before he broke her gaze and turned away.

    “Yours will be the final execution.”

    Rey’s heart sank into her stomach. She didn’t know what else she expected, but it still hurt to hear the words spoken aloud. Her eyes bore into the side of Kylo’s head, but he responded only by standing up and turning his entire body to face away from her.

    “You don’t even have the guts to face me while you deliver my death sentence.”

    Kylo stopped moving, his body visibly tense, but he didn’t turn around. “I don’t owe you anything,” he said quietly.

    “Don’t worry,” she responded coldly, “I’ve stopped expecting anything.”

    The Resistance has been captured. The execution dates are set. The story should end there.
