Since his time with Ivankov, Sanji has come to the realization that he is a trans man, but it wasn't until he almost lost everything that meant anything to him on Whole Cake Island that Sanji has finally accepted it, too.
Now, Sanji thinks he's ready to embrace it. He knows he won't truly feel free until he can tell his closest friends, but he can't figure out why something that should be so simple isn't.

Within a year of living together Eddie knew something was off with Richie. He seemed more jittery around the three month mark when he would go to see his parents, especially if he was late setting out from the apartment for the two hour drive back to Derry, but when he returned he was fine - relieved even. It was like there was some tense reason for his visits these days and it made Eddie curious. It was a tension that was never there before and it was sparking something inside of him - something protective.
