Summary
For most mortals, death is the end. What comes after is anyone’s guess.
For Jack Frost, death is an old acquaintance—not a friend, never a friend. His first death was a cold embrace, heavy and relentless.
But his second death, well. Jack’s second death is the beginning of something new.
—
When Jack Frost dies, Bunny feels a piece of his heart get ripped out of his chest.
So, naturally, he decides to fix things.
(A retelling of the myth of Osiris, a tiptoeing around what death really is, and how if you believe in something hard enough, it becomes real.)

Summary
Jack sighed. "How did you even see me get injured? You weren't anywhere near me!"
Bunny chuckled, and Jack shuddered as he felt the heat of it against his skin. "Aw, were ye keepin' tabs on me, Frostbite?"
"Never mind", Jack bit out. "Fine, whatever, I'll take a break. You should go help her."
Bunny sighed, and carefully tugged Jack down until they were sitting. Jack was cradled between his legs, his back pressed against the Pooka's chest.
Firm arms wound around his waist, and Bunny rested his chin on his head. "Like I said, she's nearly done. And someone needs to make sure ye don't go flying off."
Jack scoffed, but there was no real heat behind it. It was a fair enough estimate, and honestly, it was getting harder to think with the heat radiating from Bunny. Jack could feel it through his clothes, a sweet, syrupy warmth that made him want to close his eyes and doze against that furry chest.
Wait, what?

Summary
Jack Frost had given up hope on ever having kids of his own. Then the Man in the Moon gave him five huge eggs. Jack's about to get the family he always wanted, and Bunny's gonna have to come along for the ride. Turns out, he's not the last Pooka after all.
Who knew Pooka laid eggs?
(Or: Jack's completely enraptured by his eggies, Bunny comes to a decision, babies are hatched, and Manny probably ships Jackrabbit in secret.)
*This work is being posted as part of Jackrabbit Week 2014, and therefore the prompts for each chapter will be put in the beginning notes of each.*
