Summary
Newt’s suicide attempt from Newt’s perspective. Begins with the lead up to his attempt, shows how his mental health progressively deteriorates and both how Newt reacts and how his friends react to it. Then goes into detail about his attempt ||TW|| and how others react. And then finishes with his recovery and lots of hurt/comfort between Newt and the other characters.

Summary
Brenda could hear the blood pumping through her ears, her heart thumping as she pushed her legs to run faster. She could feel the chill of the cool glass as she clutched the vial of serum tighter in her palm. Her muscles ached, her breathing was coming out in harsh gasps as she continued to push herself into a flat out sprint.
She could smell the burning sulphur, as her eyes and lungs stung from the smoke drawn from the chaos around her. She scarcely noticed the carnage of explosions and fighting around her, as she continued to push her body to its limits. She only had one thing on her mind. Thomas and Newt.
She darted through the city, motivated by the dread slowly filling her body at the thoughts of what would happen should she arrive too late. She imagined Thomas’ face if she failed. She imagined the pain that would be inflicted on the three boys from the glade, if one of their own, their best friend, could not be saved.. They had already been through so much, lost so many, she would make sure that they did not lose their reason to keep fighting, the glue, Newt.

Summary
Simple short story I wrote for an english assignment a while ago. I liked it, I got 95% :)
Story about a mother-son relationship through childhood and adolescence, and how a person’s life struggles can destroy routine and family dynamics. Puts you into the eyes of a young man after a recent loss, hints his grief. I’ll leave the rest open to interpretation.
