Kaoru had met his fair share of people in his life. Reaching from tiny little kids to adults and elders. He didn’t know which kind of people he found more annoying/nerve-wracking the little kids or their parents. He didn’t know how to interact with little children even though he was a preschool teacher. Don’t ask him why he chose this job. But here he was. All he knew was that at this moment he had to go with their parents to be the most annoying people, or in this case one specific parent.

It’s been a couple of weeks since the funeral of Neteyam, but to Ao’nung it felt more like years. Having to watch the funeral of his lover wasn’t something he wanted to experience and certainly not that quickly. The hardest part was looking from the sidelines. No one knew of their relationship because they were still too scared to tell their families, afraid of not being accepted by them. Now Ao’nung wished they knew, wished they had told them, so he could’ve been there and not just watching.

Feeling determined Kaoru responded. “Okay! And then we can immediately buy them food and other necessities!!”
“Wait, what?” Kojiro asked surprised.
“Yes, how else am I going to take care of it when we come back from the vet?”
Joe was still a little surprised, “You’re going to keep it?”
“Of course, I’m going to keep it, you gorilla, it’s my child, we’re its parents now!” Kaoru said this with a deadpan expression.
“We?”
“Yes, we. Unless you don’t want to, but then I’ll have to look for someone else to help me raise this little one.” He knew this would be where Kojiro would give in so Kaoru couldn’t contain his smirk.

Summary
Ao’nung does Lo'aks hair so Lo'ak can officially court his sister. While making small talk Lo'ak finds out Ao’nung and Neteyam had something going on before he died. Lo'ak meets up with Tsireya and finally they get together, internally he promises to never let what happened to Ao’nung happen to Tsireya. (Sorry if my summary isn't the best and the story as well, hope you enjoy it regardless :D)
