Summary
Severus knew better than anyone how cruel fate could be. He had seen his father’s name branded on his mother’s arm and how that had been more of a curse than anything else. And he saw it again now as a thread of ink began to crawl across his arm.
As the name formed, he saw in silent horror one of his worst nightmares being fulfilled. Fate was nothing but merciless. So cruel and infamous that it had to unite him with the person he hated most in the world.
