Summary
Six years after his triumph against Kira, a new worrying case has emerged, involving dead bodies from all over the world, covered in paintings and strange symbolic writings. Near is now L, with his former caregiver, Roger, as his Watari. Through his journey of uncovering the murder mystery, Near/L comes across an old childhood acquaintance who may or may not be involved as a suspect. What may appear as him investigating another case that needed to be solved may lead to a personal journey that would even surprise L himself.
