Summary
This is an Alternative Universe to Harry Potter but from my Original Character’s first person perspective. Her name is Reagan Otis Merritt, she is an heir to a seat in the Wizengamot, she comes from the long line of Merritt’s (a mostly pure blood bloodline that I created for this) and is related to the Black’s (her mother is Sirius’s sister) and a more interesting bloodline that is a secret for now. Reagan is half vampire. Like Harry Reagan is an Orphan with her parents being killed around the same time as James and Lily, Reagan and Harry are the same age and in the same year in Hogwarts, Harry’s plot co-exists with Reagan’s with some major and minor changes happening to the original story to fit Reagan’s role. Unlike Harry, Reagan was adopted by a family friend. This is hopefully going to be a series.
The Sorting Hat was placed on my head, and for a moment, it was as though the entire world paused.
"Ah," it murmured, "Gryffindor? Or Hufflepuff? You are brave, no doubt. But there is also a need for loyalty within you, and a deep sense of fairness."
