Amidst laughter and reluctance from both sides, their body movements went out of control for a second, short enough to be stopped but long enough for one of Max's knees to end up fitting perfectly between Kate's legs. Unfortunately – or fortunately, Kate didn’t know yet – Marsh had decided to just change into her pajamas later that night, which led her into that situation while wearing her usual skirt.
