She feels her face scrunch up in distaste at that, it feels so awkward, also very suspicious. Derapchu will ask too many questions, also it doesn’t mention Zam so it’s likely Derapchu will only reply with a “Dalright” and call it a day.
She presses the backspace until the entire line of sentence is erased, and then she lets herself sigh. Why are the two most annoying people so infatuated with each other?

It’s just her luck that Derapchu would be the one to log on right then, right inside the base, obviously. It’s just his luck that that somehow hurts more than it would’ve if it was literally anyone else.
Seeing Derapchu awoke a visceral feeling. It was yanking at his lungs. She doesn’t know what word to use, he doesn’t know if there’s even a word that describes the devastation she felt when Derap asked what she was doing.
And worst of all, it served as a kind of comfort.
