He knew his time with Suguru was temporary. No one ever stayed for long around him. But that was okay. He loved to hoard these moments with Suguru while he had them. Rip little pieces of him and shove them deep inside his heart, where he could keep them safe. Where he could pull them out, one at a time, when he had bad days. When he had days where he was alone. Days where he retreated into himself. Because he knew those were the days no one wanted to see. No one wants to see him sad. No one wants to be around someone who had sadness draped around them like a cloak. So those were the days he would bring out his little memories of Suguru and his smile. The crinkle in his eyes when Satoru made him laugh. The smell of his shampoo. The way his hair bounced when he walked.
