Summary
After his family burned to death on his fifteenth birthday, Yuji worked hard to become a firefighter. He never tells anyone about the four-armed figure he saw in the flames and he has convinced himself it isn’t real, but the figure is a recurring part of disturbing dreams.
Over the years, the figure grows clearer in his dreams and deadly fires always break out when they meet outside of them. It’s hard for Yuji to recall anything but the adrenaline of saving as many people as possible but the knowledge that something is missing grows everyday. As bloodier memories of an older time Yuji couldn’t possibly possess surface, Yuji realises that he cannot refuse the spectre, Sukuna, any longer.

It was fucking distracting.
Set during Hueco Mundo Arc. After failing to rescue Inoue, Ichigo becomes a war prisoner. Meanwhile, Grimmjow’s treading on thin ice with Aizen, and has to play nanny.
