Summary
"It will be fun living together, won’t it? And I can move out after this all blows over.”
Hua Cheng looks confused for a moment but his voice is firm as he says, “You don’t have to leave. Why would you leave?”
For perhaps the third time that day, Xie Lian feels his understanding of the world shifting before his eyes. “Are you- are you asking me to move in with you?”
Throwing a hand in the air, Hua Cheng looks like he can barely stop himself from screaming. “Gege, I literally just asked that and you said yes! How can you be confused?”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I thought you were asking ‘cause of the virus situation, like a temporary thing-”
“I’m asking because I love you.”

Summary
Upon hearing about the COVID-19 Pandemic, the first thing Hua Cheng does is go to the store and purchase a fuckload of art supplies. After all, he knows he won’t be able to keep the casino open and he’ll be damned if he spends the entire quarantine staring at the wall. That’ll pass during long meetings at work, but counting ceiling tiles in the comfort of his own home just isn’t going to fly.
Xie Lian doesn’t hear about the COVID-19 pandemic at all. That is, not until he gets a notice from the lab stating he can’t come in anymore because of the disease.
And both end up quarantined at the Lake.
