“Because I love you.” Jayce admitted. Matter of fact. With the same natural reverence as he spoke of hextech and smithing. Using the same ease with which he said his own name. “Because I loved you and it was too late and it drove me to desperation. I love you.”
Viktor was at once too cold and too hot. His heart was beating hard into his ribcage as his tongue twisted over itself. “And…I-I…Jayce, I—”
“I know you love me.” Jayce’s grin only had the slightest tinge of bitterness as he bumped his head against Viktor’s. “It’s fairly…obvious when I’m actually fucking paying attention. I know you love me. You were…waiting for me. You were waiting for so fucking long…”
