Summary
After the war, Nesta is a wreck. Not feeling wanted in Velaris, she joins Cassian at an Illyrian camp in the mountains where she is content to drink and fuck her way into oblivion. However, when Nesta stumbles in on Cassian sleeping with another Illyrian female, a jealous rage overpowers her, opening floodgates of emotion and power to wash over her. From there, her icy rage begins to thaw, and Nesta learns to love once more.
