Never in Darcy's life had he been quite this grateful for a cup of tea, while at once so oblivious to its taste or its temperature.

Summary
Written for the Austen Exchange, and not really anywhere near done yet.
When Elizabeth and Darcy run into one another at Pemberley, they run INTO one another — swapping bodies. For the rest of the Pemberley arc, they have to rely each other to be each other.

Summary
"Alas! If the heroine of one novel be not patronised by the heroine of another, from whom can she expect protection and regard?" — Northanger Abbey
In the aftermath of Henry Crawford's insistent proposals, Fanny Price writes a distressed letter to her friend, one Susan Darcy. That letter is not enclosed, and nor is Miss Darcy's response — these remain, for now, private correspondence — but here is the "note" Mrs Darcy included.
Canon divergent for Mansfield Park, post canon for Pride and Prejudice.

A really brilliant fic, I kept the tab open on my phone for days so I could bookmark it when I got back to my computer and proper account.

Bookmarker's Notes
A brilliant look at a grown up Lydia, the fact that a person's personality and view of the world is not set at sixteen, and what kind of behaviour can and cannot be tolerated in an already fairly estranged husband.

Bookmarker's Notes
I don't typically go in for early-resolution fics, but here the focus is really not on the ODC relationship, so the speed at which they get together is really more of a funny result of the rest of it. You also really get the sense (which Darcy tries so hard to give Caroline) of how miserable Caroline and Darcy would both be if they DID get together.

Summary
Darcy was angry.
Really he was exhausted, frustrated, worried, and lonely, but it came out as anger. He had a new steward he was training, and it was proving to be very time consuming. The neighboring estate he was trying to acquire as a surprise for Elizabeth was becoming much more complicated than he had first assumed. It was about to be Georgiana’s first season out, which had him in waves of panic. And to top it off, he hadn’t been able to spend any quality time with Elizabeth recently. He had purchased her a new book, which he was quite confident she would enjoy. But instead every time he found her with it, she was completely asleep and seemingly not past the first chapter.

Bookmarker's Notes
A very good illustration of how ODC could and would misunderstand each other, argue, and hurt each other's feelings, even once they know and love one another. Not very historically accurate, but very true to character and the stuff that doesn't make sense from a historical perspective still serves to clarify things through a modern lens. Character development =/= becoming perfect, and these guys are certainly both far from perfect and very, very good.

Fitzwilliam starts thinking about his wife, and spirals - what if she still hates him? (She doesn't.)

Bookmarker's Notes
A lovely, short and sweet emotional hurt/comfort piece, in which Mr Darcy has a VERY relatable spiral into thinking that his wife suddenly hates him, has some interesting musings on how patriarchal Regency society was, spends a bit thinking about how 'Fitzwilliam' is a kinda stupid name, and gets some very needed cuddles.
Also, this was gifted to me, and at time of bookmarking I am still screaming over that.
