Summary
Everybody knows that Sprout has a HUGE crush on Cosmo. Except, ofcourse, Cosmo himself. Seeing the hopeless situation Sprout's in, Shelly decides to help her fellow main by sending him and his "bestfriend" on a run all alone. The heartwarming story slowly goes down the wrong tunnel when Sprout and Cosmo encounter something they might never be able to fix. With the help of other toons and each other, both of them try to fix the horrid mess and navigate their feelings along the way.
. . . Though to get something, you have to lose something in return. . .

Sprout has been pining after Cosmo since before he was created. The perfect best friend— sweet, loyal, kind, and also into baking sweets! Not only that, but.. he's lovely. He's absolutely lovely. It's beginning to pain him every day how hard he's fallen. There's just one issue.. Cosmo has friendzoned him more times than he can count.
Cosmo is beginning to notice something. Every time he introduces Sprout as his “ best friend ” , he seems like he's not really there. Like the label of best friend isn't good enough for him. He's starting to worry that maybe he doesn't really want to be friends..
