“It was unlikely--”
“It was correct and you didn’t listen,” she cut him off. “It was a valid diagnosis that you refused to acknowledge because it wasn’t your idea.”
“He had a pre-existing heart condition. Subacute Bacterial Endocarditis is twice as likely. He presented with more Endo symptoms than Sarcoidosis.”
“It would take a simple biopsy to diagnose. You have no excuse as to why you waited until he had a seizure to listen to your team.”
“If you give me a minute I’m sure I could come up with a couple valid excuses.” If there is one thing that House has mastered over the years, it’s how to push Cuddy’s buttons and the annoyance in her body language told him that she was done with the painless arguing. He waited for her to send out his subordinates and lock the door behind them so they could get to the naughty punishment that he so desperately wanted.
