“‘fraid not, you either play with us or you’re out. Didn’t Dustin tell you?”
Dustin has not told him.
“No, he did not” Steve glares at the little bastard. Who only shrugs and walks down the remaining steps and into the room “must have slipped my mind”
“Yeah I’m sure,” Steve mutters.
“Well, I have some pre-made characters. You could have one of those,” Eddie starts rummaging around in his bag, pulling out different sheets of paper. And Steve is about to leave, he really is, because he does not want to play. But then Eddie looks up at him holding out one of the papers and suddenly Steve’s feet are moving and before he can register it he is sitting down with everyone else, a sheet of paper before him with stats and information about his character.
Or: Steve starts playing DnD, is in denial, has a crisis, is an idiot etc. Eddie thinks it's funny, mostly.
