Summary
After having been tochigami for a year, the gods ask Nanami to enter a marital contract with a dangerous fox yokai -- the god of deceit and sensuality -- in order to control him. Although wary of each other at first, despite their misunderstandings and struggle to find footing in their marriage, they choose to pursue a relationship with each other to make the best of their situation. Whereas in the beginning their contract was based on gaining protection for Nanami and Mizuki, and freedom for Tomoe, they soon find themselves in over their heads as the god who pursued Nanami proves himself to be after more than simple coercion. Over the course of a year, with many trials and tribulations, they seek a solution to the mess this fallen god has created. And, maybe, just maybe, they will find love along the way.

Summary
Tomoe and Nanami have turned a corner since bonding and learning how to work together, but it doesn’t mean their troubles are over. The god who sent the kamaitachi is revealed when Nanami is kidnapped to the netherworld, leaving her in the fight of her life — and she may need the god of deceit to help her cheat death. Through the resulting trials and the aftermath, they may discover just how much they mean to each other, and how much they have been taking each other for granted.
