Crickets.
It was Shoko who first broke the silence. “What?! You’re married?”
Or: It was the inside joke among the elders: marry the strongest to the weakest. Give him a curse of his own. Against all Utahime’s protests, she was married to the future head of the Gojo family before could even properly turn eighteen.

Utahime thinks she knows Gojo Satoru.
Well, enough to know he’s just her carefree, freakishly strong, lanky underclassman who loves to make fun of her all the time.
Yeah, she thought, even though he is the strongest sorcerer of their generation (what a title), he was still just a little kid in the end. He was immature, arrogant, and didn’t like following the rules. A pain. But otherwise, he was as normal as a person with his powers could be.
Yet.
There were moments where his behavior would change, around her specifically. Behavior that was concerning to anyone who watched with a close enough eye. Behavior that would change Utahime’s view of Gojo as just an annoying kid to something else entirely.
