Well shit I’ve been pumping out stories this weekend and I feel drained, tired but also happy. I’m just trying to deal with the gaping hole that season 3 left in my heart yo. 2 years of waiting gone in 2 days. This is going to be my last story for this weekend and imma just hope the batteries are recharged for next weekend haha. I thought the ending was a lil weird so please ignore that cause I didn’t want to have to make another entire segment about getting to the hospital and all that. Hope you like it!

“We’re here cause someone tried to put another hole in me, as if I ain’t got more than the factory recommends to begin with.” Majima huffs out a laugh as he paces in circles in the small back alley by the river. He kicks at some refuse, bouncing a tin can against the brick wall and back into his hand.
“What he means is someone tried to whack us, and Daigo told us to scram while he sorts it out. And, uh, we don’t gotta lotta places to lie low at.”
“Damn, sounds like it’s serious.” Kiryu sets a cigarette in his lips and pulls out his lighter, but Saejima beats him to it. He must feel guilty.
“We ain’t lookin’ to drag you in to that nonsense, pinkie promise.” Majima adds, flipping the can in his hand a few times before lobbing it into the recycling bin across the street with an exaggerated pitcher's windup, startling some pigeons. “For all intents and purposes this is a nice lil vacay.”

With Nishiki in jail for the murder of their patriarch and Yumi missing, Kiryu finds himself suddenly lost and alone in the sea of Tojo clan politics. He's never been great at emotional matters, and this is enough to push him hard into some vices.
Good thing Majima's there to steer his wayward coworker away from some of the more self destructive ones for completely altruistic reasons.
