My submission for the High Fantasy Royal challenge.
This story takes place in a land where the forests are still deep and dark, and not to be trifled with, where powers are mysterious phenomena that are feared as much as they are revered.
Morgan's family reign over an expansive kingdom. When Morgan doesn't develop a "blessing" as the rest of the family has for generations, their parents begin to worry what it could mean for their claim to rule.
