Summary
It’s been 3 months since what’s been dubbed as the ‘Musutafu Horror’ appeared, killing 13 people and injuring many others. But the creature responsible still hasn’t been found.
The forest that sprouted with its sudden appearance remains in what was once a small neighborhood park. There have been talks about removing the excess plant matter to restore the park, but locals who believe it may have been a nature spirit are arguing against these plans. They fear that destroying the creature’s forest will cause it to return.
Currently, the forest in the park’s previous location, now known as the ‘Kaiju’s Forest,’ has been sectioned off by the police. People are discouraged from entering this forest since little is known about the plants and their unnatural growth. There is also concern that the monster is still inside, hidden from prior search attempts.

Midoriya Izuku was 5 years old when he got his quirk.
Izuku grit his teeth, his young hands clenching at his sides as he tried his best to hold in the tears leaking from his eyes. He decided that even if his blood was tainted, even if he was useless, he would be a hero anyways.
He was 5 when he first got a brother.
Because no one was going to stop him. Not anyone. They would have to get through his wall of flames to do that. And he's built it up taller than anyone.
He was 9, when he first discovered who his father really was.
Then his story truly began.
And the flames rose up.

What's in a world?
A genetic mutation here. Your parents making a different decision there. Class schedules getting shuffled around. Some of these changes are so inconsequential that if you were to compare a world on either side of them, you might think you were looking in a mirror. Others are the sort that can completely change your journey, for better or for worse. Changes that can call into question just what it means to be Midoriya Izuku of U.A. High School, Class 1-A.
Join the Midoriya of another world as he navigates his own adventures that may at times seem familiar, but are always just off enough to keep you on your toes.
Or: A "Deku has a Quirk" fanfic with enough other changes in the background to hopefully snowball into something really really cool.
