Summary
It's a few days later that Scar puts his plan into action.
He watches Grian as he prepares his tea. He never said anything about it tasting any different, so he guesses Grian is none the wiser. Each night, after drinking his tea, it's not long before he stumbles into his room and falls asleep. And usually, Scar will simply go into his own room and go to sleep.
Not tonight.
He stays out in the living room area, pretending to do some work on his laptop, but really he's watching Grian. The man's eyes are drooping, head jerking up occasionally as he tries to stay awake. Eventually he gives up and heads into his room with a quick goodnight to Scar that he returns.
And then he waits. Enough time to ensure that Grian has fully prepared himself for bed and conked out for the night with no risk of waking him. Slowly, he rises out of the seat and sets his laptop down. Slowly, he makes his way over to Grian's room. Slowly, he opens the door and peeks in.
Grian lays on his bed, barely underneath the blanket, fast asleep. Scar smiles. He steps in, careful to stay quiet. He doesn't know how well the tea works at keeping him asleep, and he doesn't want to risk waking him before he can have some fun.

Summary
Convex Serial Killer AU (+ multiple ships)
Scar believed he was unlucky. For one whole decade, he was having a hard time making it big as an author. Although his storytelling was great, no one was interested in cookie cutter fantasy stories these days.
That was until that day, when the now presently cold case was also Scar's greatest inspiration. His motivation for starting true crime stories.
He wasn't knowledgeable on murder, of course. But he believes that all the bad luck he accumulated in the past has now come as a blessing to Scar in a form of a person; his new roommate, Cub! Who is... suspiciously way too knowledgeable on murder crimes.
