Medusa found it strange that she felt this way for another, for she had believed all the love in her soul was stripped away from her. She had been cut deeper than any knife could go and believed that there was no going back to the purity of caring for someone. But here she was, body full of buzzing stars and mind brimming with those butterflies she didn’t think she’d ever experience again.
