Summary
There’s a basketball court three blocks away from the apartment complex Jisung lives in, and he’s been spending all of his Sundays there since elementary school. Everyone on the block knows about him and he takes his reputation seriously. On one of those weekend days, he finds someone there he has never seen before. Although they start as friends, they turn out to be on rival teams.

Summary
Jisung longs after his closest friend who does not reciprocate his feelings. Years go by without his crush on Minho waning, and after his attempt to move on from this hopeless affair fails, he throws one of his rings into a wishing well as a joke, asking for Minho to love him back. Much to Jisung's surprise, his wish may have been granted for a short while.

Jaebum is an assassin-for-hire, unlike any kind. He kills slowly, starting from the inside - reserved and intelligent, he easily finds his way under people’s skin. Highly observant and analytical, he’s a true gem of his profession.
In early June, Jaebum is hired to kill Jinyoung, the only witness to a burglary case where identifying the robber is essential to prove the defendant’s guilt with all other evidence being too ambiguous. The burglar’s family hires Jaebum to get rid of Jinyoung so their son’s record stays clean and they needed someone who would leave no trails behind.
Jaebum has to become everything Jinyoung ever wanted and poison him one day at a time. His deadline is mid-August. He starts losing ground by the end of July, leading him down a rabbit hole through his past.
