Erwin Smith. The name, and the man himself, echo in Levi’s head, linger on his tongue, and leave imprints behind his eyelids. He can’t stop it. Time passes and Levi realizes that maybe he doesn’t want it to stop—there’s more to the stone-cold leader than meets the eye. While their mutual bond strengthens, others speculate, but Levi never cares to explain their relationship; no one understands. No one will ever understand the ways in which their relationship exceed the boundaries of a commander and his captain.
