   Summary

   In the quiet confines of a rehabilitation center, young survivor Nezuko grapples with the physical and emotional scars of a brutal home invasion that shattered her life. Seeking connection, she joins a therapeutic penpal program designed for trauma patients of all kinds. Fate pairs her with Sanemi Shinazugawa, a gruff, no-nonsense young adult also recovering from an eerily similar home invasion that left him distrustful and withdrawn. Through their letters, they forge a bond that others struggle to understand. After leaving the center, Sanemi begins investigating the string of attacks plaguing the city. As he and his brother delve deeper, the cases grow increasingly dangerous.
