Miguel was so close, too close, too strong, he couldn’t breathe, he couldn’t—
His body was smashed one more time onto the train, Miguel’s forearm crushing his windpipe. His spider-sense was screaming so loud it had become a dull sound in his ears. He had never felt so trapped, so cornered, and the terror was blinding him.
But he couldn’t give up just now. He was Spiderman. He was going to get out of Miguel’s grasp, return to his dimension and prevent his father from dying. Three simple steps. Easy peasy.
